Élodie Brzustowski
Guitarist, lutenist, theorbist, Elodie Brzustowski now has over thirty strings to her bow!
Convinced of the benefits of polyinstrumentality, Elodie performs both solo (Festival Internacional de Guitarra de Coria in Spain, Festival International de guitare de Paris, hospital recitals organized by « Jeunes Talents » and bedside concerts with Hop we care) and in chamber music (program of French « airs de cour » with soprano Elise Guignard, duo Café 1830 - romantic guitar and historical clarinet, ensemble La Mandorle) and as a continuo player in larger ensembles (Orchestre de l'Opéra Royal de Versailles, ensemble Correspondances, Les Folies Françoises, La Chambre, English Baroque Soloists under Christophe Rousset). She also takes part in a variety of projects combining music and theater (You will love me, a play by François Gardeil created in 2022, L'Apprenti Sorcier, a show for young audiences with puppeteers from Compagnie Métaphore), or music and cinema.
In 2024, with the support of the Fondation Safran pour la Musique, she recorded her first solo project, featuring forgotten works from the 1830s on romantic guitar.
Holder of a Master's degree in classical guitar (2024) and a Bachelor's degree in theorbo, lute and basso continuo (2023) from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, as well as a pedagogical diploma in both disciplines, she is currently pursuing her Master's studies with Monica Pustilnik.
Since 2021, Elodie has been teaching lute and sight-reading at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Rueil Malmaison in the Paris region.
